Shaun and Lyndsey were great to work with, especially while planning a Covid wedding. The property is beautiful and our guests from out of town were blown away!! The rental property on site allowed us to have the feel of a destination wedding as we were in the mountains surrounded by all of our favorite people for the whole weekend. It was truly our dream venue in every way.
To start, the location. Nestled on the mountainside, the venue felt secluded but was only 10 minutes from State College. The lodge was gorgeous and lit perfectly. The ceremony areas outside are landscaped beautifully and have the perfect Pennsylvania backdrop!
This leads me to the secret sauce that makes Rolling Rails great: Shaun and Lyndsey. Not only did they try to think of every detail one could think of when building this wedding venue, not only did they answer every question we had leading up to the wedding (there was alotttt), but they were also there on wedding day busting their butts to try and make our dreams of an outside ceremony come true. They got soaked in the process, but their efforts throughout the entire process really demonstrated how much they care about making peoples wedding days as special as possible.
There are not enough good things in the English language to say about Rolling Rails and if you are anything like me and love the outdoors and being in nature, BOOK THIS PLACE RIGHT NOW!!!!! It is truly a hidden gem.
